UED’s first Overseas Education Summit was appreciated by member consultancy firms and overseas educational institutions.
The International Education Consultants Association, known as UED in short, held its first summit meeting in Antalya Belek on November 29 – December 1, 2018 with the participation of its member overseas education consultancy firms and overseas educational institutions.
The event, which has never been done before not only in our country but also in the world, was brought to life within a program that offered informative presentations and panels on sectoral issues, as well as open discussion meetings and one-on-one interviews. UED Summit was an event where overseas educational institutions and their representatives in our country, overseas education consultancy firms, came together in a comfortable and entertaining environment to discuss the future of the sector.
UED Board of Directors Chairman Mr. In her opening speech, Aslıhan Özenç thanked the participants, main sponsor Guard Me International Insurance and sponsor ELS Language Services, and continued as follows: “…The UED Summit Meeting was a first in this field by creating a discussion platform that will help the development of our sector. We are living in a period when our country is faced with many challenges and this is accompanied by a demand for effective change both nationally and globally. International education is a very important and exciting area and we will continue to bring creative people together with these events of UED…”
In the first part of the summit meeting, informative presentations and panels were held for both foreign education consultancy firms established in our country and foreign language schools, while in the second part, while the managers of the consultancy firms discussed sectoral issues, the authorities of foreign language schools and foreign consultants held one-on-one meetings in the other hall. The UED Summit ended with a trip to the Kurşunlu Waterfall Nature Park in Antalya on Saturday.
