Founded in Bristol in 1969, ELC Bristol is part of the “The English Network (TEN)” group, which brings together the best boutique language schools in England. In 2017, it ranked first among nearly 500 language schools in England with a full score in the inspections conducted by the British Council. ELC Bristol is accredited by important organizations such as the British Council, English UK, ISI and IALC. The main goal of this school, which offers a warm family atmosphere, is to create a supportive and active learning environment for students to get the most out of their English language education. In addition to the quality language education it offers, ELC Bristol also attaches great importance to extracurricular activities in order to ensure that its students have an unforgettable experience in England. Thanks to its close relationship with the University of Bristol, ELC Bristol students have the opportunity to join the university’s student societies. In these societies and nearly 50 sports clubs, students can take part in cultural and sporting events.
ELC Bristol continues to provide education in two historical buildings in one of the most beautiful areas of Bristol. The school consists of 17 classrooms and is just a few minutes from the university in Clifton. It offers 28 lessons (21 hours) of General English per week. Students who want to practice more can join the 2-hour Conversation Classes each week, free of charge. There are also additional facilities such as Jobs Club, Film Club and Self-study, all free of charge. ELC Bristol offers students the choice of homestay accommodation, both within walking distance of the study centres and also homestay accommodation, which is mostly within walking distance.
