UED Membership Terms & Conditions
Membership conditions and required documents determined according to the Associations Law and UED Regulation are as follows;
- Being over 18 years old (To be requested from the person applying on behalf of the company)
- Being a citizen of the Republic of Turkey or having a residence in Turkey (To be requested from the person applying on behalf of the company)
- Being active in International Education Consultancy for at least 2 years (The establishment year will be requested to be documented with the establishment gazette. Companies that have completed 2 years will be defined as Category A. Consultancy companies that have been in business for less than 2 years will be placed on the waiting list and defined as Category B.)
- References from at least 2 companies from our Association Members whose memberships are ongoing at the time of application
- References from two overseas schools represented
- Company Introduction Letter
- Criminal record (To be requested from the person applying on behalf of the company)
- 3 photos (To be requested from the person applying on behalf of the company)
- Residence certificate (To be requested from the person applying on behalf of the company)
- Notarized ID card (To be requested from the person applying on behalf of the company)
Membership fee
The membership application procedure is completed by submitting the necessary documents and references to the UED office begins.
Following this application, two of our association members will visit the applicants’ workplaces within one month and meet with the applicant, and will report to our board of directors about this visit.
Membership applications will be evaluated by taking this report into consideration, and will be decided by our board of directors at the next Board of Directors meeting and will be answered in writing within 30 days at the latest.
The entrance fee will be requested after the applicants are notified in writing that their applications have been accepted, and the association membership will begin with the payment of the entrance fee.
From the Association The conditions for expulsion will be determined according to the conditions in our association statute.
Those who are not accepted as members of the association and those who are expelled from the association by the decision of the Board of Directors may object to the association presidency within one month from the date of written notification of the situation. If this objection is not present at the first board of directors meeting, it will be decided at the first general assembly meeting. This decision is final.
Membership applicants must submit a completed printout of the form below, along with the documents above, to the association.
