The organizations that are candidates in their categories for the ST Star Awards, which are given every year by Study Travel Magazine, the most important publication in the international education sector and are considered the “Oscars” of the sector, have been announced. UED, which achieved the success of winning this award in 2013, 2015 and 2016, has been nominated for the sixth year in a row.

UED, which first competed with educational consultancy firm associations from all over the world in the nomination process for the STM Star Awards, which also have a very special place due to the mutual votes of international schools and educational consultancy firms, the leading actors of the International Education Sector, was entitled to be in the final vote with Aseproce / Spain, Jaos / Japan, IECA / Taiwan and TIECA / Thailand.

The fact that two of the five organizations that were successful in becoming candidates in the Star Agency Eastern Europe category were from Turkey indicates how important our country’s position is in the international education world, while the fact that these two organizations from our country were also members of UED was evaluated as proof of the high service standards and professionalism level that UED has achieved.

Although the efforts of the Board of Directors and association employees have a great impact on the success of our association and our members who set out to make a difference in the overseas education sector, we are aware that the real reason for the existence of UED is that its members have not compromised on overseas education consultancy ethics and professionalism in their relations with schools abroad for many years. Therefore, we would like to thank all valuable UED members who contributed to this success.
